PLAYER REFUND POLICY

Participant Withdrawal

    • If you withdraw your Games registration and sports entry before 11:59pm on 14 January 2027, you will receive a refund less a 20% administration fee.
    • Withdrawals after this date are not eligible for a refund.

Sport Cancellation

  • If a Sport Partner cancels a sport or event before competition commences, participants will receive a refund of the applicable sport entry fee or may transfer to another available sport where possible.
  • If the cancelled sport is the participant’s only sport, they will also receive a refund of their Games registration fee unless they choose to enter another sport.

Event Disruption

  • Where an event, sport or competition is cancelled, postponed, disrupted or modified due to weather, natural disaster, public health events, venue issues, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond the organisers’ reasonable control, refunds will be considered in accordance with applicable New Zealand law and the circumstances of the disruption.

Transfers

  • Registration fees and sports entries are non-transferable to another person.

PARTY PASS REFUND POLICY

    • Refunds and date changes are permitted up until midnight, two days before the date of the Party Pass. After this time, passes are non-refundable and dates cannot be changed, except where required by law.
    • Party Passes cannot be transferred to another person.
    • Where cancellations, postponements or disruptions occur due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ reasonable control, refunds will be considered in accordance with applicable New Zealand law.
    • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days.
